Believe It Tour has four explorers getting ready for the 2011 Old Haunts Michigan. Your main tour guide and source of inspiration will be Michael Esordi, founder and President of Believe It Tour. The tour clipboard and the person keeping things running smoothly will be Diana Smith, who's Vice President of Believe It Tour. The Quest Crew is complete with tour skeptic and navigator, Brad Pennock, who has been an integral part of each of the summer tours and the explorations leading up to the creation of Believe It Tour and our new research scientist, Tracey Roy.

Michael Esordi
Tour Guide
Michael is the founder of Believe It Tour and the creative force behind conceptualizing and planning the extensive yearly expeditions. One of Michael's famous sayings is "Always trust the tour guide," which is exactly what everyone does on the exciting trips he always puts together.
A long time innovator and explorer, Michael had one of the first on-line travel journals during the infancy stage of the Internet in 1996. The website chronicled a bicycle tour he took across New Zealand that was called "Project New Zealand." The site was actually so innovative that it captured the attention of major media outlets and was featured in the New York Times and CNN.com.
Michael is a native of Michigan and was formally trained in design at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design on the east coast. From there Michael found his way to California where he worked as a creative director for a number of well-known companies before founding his own award winning design studio called Duotribe. He has maintained an impressive international client roster over the years that has included big names from the world of academia and zoology to high-tech and fitness. In 2008 Michael developed a new business when he founded Believe It Tour as a way to bring diverse groups of people together to reconnect with their childhood beliefs through events, educational programs, and outreach projects.
Join Michael this year as he leads all of us on an exciting new adventure of his Old Haunts in his home state of Michigan. Always remember - trust the tour guide.

Diana Smith
Tour Clipboard
Diana is Vice President of Believe It Tour and when the team is on an adventure she's the one handling the complex trip logistics and keeping everything on track. When on tour she can usually be found carrying around an official looking silver clipboard making sure things are going according to plan, which has earned her the title of the Tour "Clipboard."
Diana's background is a diverse one as she's been in both the science and creative worlds. As a classically trained scientist she's been a Global Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems for medical device companies in California and New York. She was also co-founder and CFO of an award winning commercial photography studio in Southern California.
From the time she was little, Diana loved to read and was fascinated with tales of adventure and people that explored new places. She would imagine that instead of climbing her tree she was actually an explorer scaling a tall mountain in a snow covered land. She was also captivated with the mythology and folklore tales of different cultures and what was behind the creation of the tales. She was especially interested in folklore that dealt with mysterious creatures and ghostly specters. Even though she's an adult now, Diana's curiosity about mysterious things, her interest in cultural tales, and her love of adventure are even stronger today.
This summer enjoy Old Haunts though Diana's eyes by experiencing her blog posts and photography and be transported to some of the amazing new places she'll be visiting.

Brad Pennock
Tour Skeptic
A San Diego, California native, Brad rounds out the tour crew with his great sense of adventure that's mixed with a healthy dose of skepticism. Hence, the reason he's earned the official title of Tour Skeptic.
Having learned how to fly an airplane before learning how to drive, Brad had a childhood dream of becoming an astronaut. However, when he was in college, Brad decided to switch from aerospace engineering, after discovering how extensive and difficult the math requirements were, to computers and graphic design.
Even though Brad didn't become an astronaut his love of space and exploration is still present in his everyday life. In addition to design projects for mainstream clients, you can find Brad fitting in his love of space through previous projects for NASA and JPL or while he's poking around on Google Earth to appease his insatiable curiosity of "what's out there." When Brad's not at work, he's usually heading to the airfield to hop in a plane to fly and check out some new place he's not been before.
Brad's always up for a new adventure and whenever the Believe It Tour crew heads out he's more than happy to be a part of the latest journey. Follow Brad as he takes part in Old Haunts Michigan. See Brad's photographic interpretations of the stops and find out what he thinks about the locations on this year's trip.

Tracey Roy
Tour Researcher
Tracey has been interested in the paranormal since she was a child growing up in Massachusetts. The first story that caught her attention was an article from "Look" Magazine about the Betty and Barney Hill abduction by John Fuller; she has been hooked ever since. During her childhood vacations on Cape Cod, she looked forward to checking out the used bookstores and buying all the books dealing with UFOs or Cryptozoology to read on the beach.
Tracey went on to receive her Bachelor's degree from Wheaton College and then her Master's degree from Penn State in Biological Anthropology. She worked as a skeletal biologist for the National Institute on Aging and for the last 11 years she has worked in the field of Health Care Fraud Investigations and data analytics. She has always wanted to bring her scientific training and fraud investigation background into researching and exploring the paranormal.
In 2009, she became an investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and is now a Pennsylvania State Section Director. Tracey has worked on paranormal investigations as a team member with the Center for Unexplained Events (CUE), Spirit Society of Pennsylvania (SSP) and the Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania. She is also a field investigator for the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society.
